Meet Jaime Ziegler L. Ac, M. Ac, Dipl. Ac, CVT

Jaime is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  She earned her master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, and an associate degree in Veterinary Nursing.

As an acupuncturist, Jaime has experience treating a variety of emotional and physical ailments.  In addition to treating pain, she is passionate about getting to know her patients on a deeper level.  She feels emotion plays a large role in creating their physical ailments and recognizes the body’s need for harmonization.  Jaime has an extensive education in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), 5-Element Acupuncture, Japanese and Korean Styles of Acupuncture.

In addition to acupuncture, Jaime will incorporate appropriate modalities including Tuina massage,  Japanese shiatsu massage, therapeutic cupping, and moxibustion into the treatment; while offering nutrition and lifestyle advice to aid the healing process in-between visits.

On a personal note, Jaime has a strong passion for the outdoors and has a limitless devotion to her family which includes her husband Matt, three young children, and a multitude of furry companions. Jaime has worked at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital for the past 20 years. Along with caring for the canine and feline patients, she has bonded with many owners over their shared love for their 4-legged companions. She continues to work for the university on a part-time basis.

"Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open."
